We read the spec
EU law makes every shoe declare its upper, lining, insole and sole. Retailers publish that per colourway, not per model, which is why the same trainer can be leather in one colour and textile in the next.

We read the description too
The label only has to cover about 80% of a surface, so a suede overlay can legally go unlisted. Reading the description as a second source caught 35 shoes whose material label looked completely clean.

We mark it, or we don’t
Only colourways clean in both sources get the mark. A clean label with no description published is listed as likely, never as confirmed. Glues and dyes are declared by nobody, and we say so.
