vegantrainers takes part in affiliate programmes. When you click a link to a retailer and buy something, we may earn a commission. This comes out of the retailer's margin, so it never adds anything to the price you pay. It also has no bearing on our verdicts: a shoe's vegan status is decided only by its published materials and description, never by whether a retailer pays us.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon links on this site are searches, by manufacturer style code where we hold one and by name otherwise, never checked listings: our verdicts attach to the retailer data we read, and we cannot tell you that a particular Amazon listing is the animal-free version. Match the colour against this site before you buy.
This is a static information site. We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect names, emails or payment details on this site. Anything you buy happens on the retailer's own website under their privacy policy.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count which pages are useful. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites or build a profile of you. It records the page visited, roughly where in the world the request came from, and what kind of device it was, and nothing that identifies you. That is also why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you to consent to.
When you click through to a retailer, the affiliate network (for example Awin) sets a cookie so the retailer can credit the referral. That cookie carries no personal information from us.
If we ever change analytics provider, we will name the new one here.
Under UK GDPR you can ask what data relates to you and request its deletion. Since we hold none tied to your identity, there is normally nothing to return, but you can always ask: hello@vegantrainers.co.uk.
